"The theatrical canon is overwhelmingly patriarchal, and we wanted to challenge that by creating a joyous and comedic female driven narrative. About The Authors

ALICE NORA (she/they) is an NYC based actor, writer, and comedic genius. Alice is a self described nurturer of the creative process and strives to do so with joy, positivity, and possibility. Selected stage credits include Unmarried Man (The PIT NYC), A Middle School Play (The Tank), Songs for a New World (The Mint Theater), Dead Legends Live (SF Entertainment), The Who's Tommy (Berkshire Theater), and NINE (Berkshire Theater) where her performance was acclaimed as “nothing short of remarkable”. In NYC, Alice has trained under Ben Houghton, Vishal Vaidya, Rachel Schur, and Anna Terese Scott. Previously, Alice has developed work as part of Fresh Ground Pepper's Accountability Lab (PALs Program). Currently she is an Artist in Residence with First Kiss Theatre where she is developing new plays, sketches, and digital shorts. Featured shorts include the captivatingly cute A Very Kitten Christmas along with its sequel A Very Kitten Christmas: Snow Day. EMMY KUPERSCHMID (she/her) is an NYC-based actor and writer on a mission to make people feel less alone. Selected stage credits include Dave Malloy's Beardo (Pipeline Theatre Company- Drama Desk Nomination), How To Make A Woman’s Advocate (YPF @ the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center), The Polar Express (Warner Bros), The Mad Ones Lab with Kerrigan & Lowdermilk, and As You Like It (Rogue Players), for which she was praised as a “standout…[with] untapped acting depths”. Film credits include the feature Tales From Shakespeare and the short Petty Therapy, directed by 911: Lone Star’s Brian Michael Smith. As a writer, Emmy has developed work with Fresh Ground Pepper, The Tank, First Kiss Theatre, Playdate Theatre, and Skeleton Rep(resents), and is published in the anthology Evil Genius: Monsters on Stage (with an introduction by Julie Taymor).
